Hey, Diddle Diddle! If you’re a fiddle fanatic, you don’t want to miss the event Llano has in store for you next weekend. Lucky for you, Big Chief RV Resort is just a short drive away. Stay for the weekend and kick up your boots as you soak up the sun!

Screen Shot 2016-03-25 at 3.57.45 PM.pngThe Llano Fiddle Fest Weekend will return April 1 – 3. Celebrate this annual fiddle contest at the LanTex Theater in downtown Llano. The activities kick off with the Llano Air Fiddle and Anything Goes — Tricks and Licks competitions. The contests include youth, senior, open and accompanist divisions, so come out to enjoy the tough competition and mad fiddle skills. The Saturday evening concert will be a delightful addition to your weekend schedule. Enjoy the beauty of the Texas Hill Country in the spring as you listen to these soothing, and impressive, sounds.

Then giddy up to the early service and cowboy breakfast on Sunday morning, accompanied by — you guessed it — fiddle music. This might wrap up the Fiddle Fest, but you can stay in Burnet as long as you’d like. There’s plenty to do and see with the Historic Downtown Square, local eateries and unique shopping. You might even want to stick around for the Burnet Bluebonnet Festival April 8 – 10! Just give Big Chief RV Resort a call to book your spring vacation.
